Ark Alumni is a platform designed to create a safe, supportive community for those who previously attended an Ark school. It aims to help alumni to grow their networks and contribute to their professional development through exclusive careers support and opportunities.

Mohammed Yusuf Hassan
A truly exceptional achievement. We are proud to celebrate the outstanding academic success of Mohammed Yusuf Hassan, who has achieved one of the highest sets of GCSE results in the school’s history. Mohammed secured eight Grade 9s in English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, and History, along with a Grade 8 in French. As a result, he will pursue his goal of becoming a doctor by committing to A-Levels at King Edwards, Camp Hill and studying medicine.
His results reflect not only academic excellence but also a deep commitment to learning, intellectual curiosity, and consistent hard work. In response to the results Yusuf emphasised “I am thankful for the years at AVA, I want to stress my thanks for the dedication from teachers and believe that there is a clear distinction between the pupils that listen in class and those that do not. Success is a price that you pay for through the currency of listening and taking on feedback.”

Orni Rahman
A model of determination and excellence. We are delighted to recognise the exceptional achievements of Orni Rahman, who has demonstrated remarkable academic strength across a broad range of subjects. Orni achieved Grade 9s in English Literature, Religious Education, and Italian, alongside four Grade 8s in the Sciences and French, and Grade 7s in Maths and French. As a result, Orni will go on to complete her A Levels in Biology, Chemistry & Psychology at Solihull 6th Form.
Her results are a testament to her dedication, resilience, and the high aspirations she has maintained throughout her studies. She leaves us with this advice: “Thankyou to all the teachers and experiences at Ark Victoria, I hope that future students can push themselves to the same success; remember to take your time to plan out meaningful revision and look after your well-being.”

Maryam Ali
A rising academic star. Congratulations to Maryam Ali, whose GCSE results reflect both academic excellence and a strong work ethic. Maryam achieved Grade 9s in English Literature and Chemistry, four Grade 8s in Maths, Physics, Biology, and Geography, and Grade 7s in French and English Language. Accordingly, Muna will be studying Biology, Chemistry & Maths at Aston 6th Form.
Her achievements demonstrate a consistent commitment to learning and a passion for both the sciences and the humanities. She mentioned: “I am so thankful for this journey and so many opportunities given via the school to write to colleges.” She went on to offer the following advice to future pupils: “Success only comes your with with commitment to hard work.”

Layeeba Syeda
A voice of academic strength. We are proud to celebrate the success of Layeeba Syeda, who has achieved an impressive set of GCSE results. Layeeba earned Grade 9s in English Literature and English Language, five Grade 8s across the Sciences, Business, and Geography, and Grade 7s in French and Maths. Accordingly, she will be attending King Edwards Camp Hill and studying Biology, Chemistry & Economics at A Level.
Her results reflect a strong academic foundation and a clear dedication to her studies. She gave the following advice to future students: “Be thankful for all the support from such wonderful teachers and remember to take your time with planning out a clear revision timetable.”

Simla Lokus Yeasmin
A standout scholar. Congratulations to Simla Lokus Yeasmin, whose GCSE results highlight her academic excellence across a wide range of subjects. Simla achieved four Grade 9s in English Literature, English Language, Physics, and Business, Grade 8s in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and French, and a Grade 7 in Geography. As a result, she will be going to Solihull College to study Maths, Chemistry & Psychology.
Her success reflects a well-rounded academic profile and a deep commitment to learning. She emphasised: “My journey has been one filled with reflection and even today is a stepping stone for this. Progress does not stand still and must be planned whilst listening to the wisdom around you.”

Muna Ali
A voice of strength and scholarship. We are pleased to recognise the achievements of Muna Ali, who has demonstrated academic excellence and a passion for learning. Muna achieved Grade 9s in English Literature, English Language, and Religious Education, along with Grade 8s in Chemistry and History. Accordingly, she will be enrolling at UoB 6th form to study English Literature, History & Psychology at A-Level.
Her results reflect a strong analytical mind and a dedication to her studies. She commented: “I am relieved and shocked at how well I have done. All that hard work and planning from Y10 has been worth it. My advice to others is to revise and follow the path to success offered by the school, at no point should you let time defeat you!”

Zunairah Khaliq
A brilliant all-rounder. We are proud to celebrate the success of Zunairah Khaliq, whose GCSE results reflect both academic strength and versatility. Zunairah achieved Grade 9s in Science and Business, and five Grade 8s in English Literature, Maths, Geography, Religious Education, and French. As a result, she will be enrolling at King Edwards Camp Hill to study A-Levels in Politics, Economics & Chemistry.
Her achievements demonstrate a balanced and consistent approach to learning across a wide range of subjects. She expressed: “ I feel relieved but also motivated to start the next chapter of life. I would advise other pupils not to stress too much, if you put in the revision time you will be fine.”

Mohammed Sami & Mohammed Ayan
A shared journey of success. We are proud to celebrate the achievements of brothers Mohammed Sami and Mohammed Ayan, who have both secured an excellent set of GCSE results this year. Each of them achieved a strong combination of five Grade 7s, four Grade 8s, and a Grade 9, reflecting their consistent effort, mutual support, and shared commitment to academic success. Both are planning to study A-Level Business, Economics & Accountancy at Solihull College.
Their results are a testament not only to their individual determination but also to the strength of sibling encouragement and the positive impact of a supportive learning environment. Together, they have demonstrated that excellence can be achieved through collaboration, focus, and perseverance. They wanted to give the following advise: “We are relieved and pleased with the success and it is a reflection of the hard work paying off. We have loved our time at the school and have felt so supported by the staff. We would advise all future students to not take time for granted because Year 11 comes around quicker than you think!”

Hamidah Ahmed
A quiet determination rewarded. We are pleased to recognise the achievements of Hamidah Ahmed, whose GCSE results reflect a steady commitment to her studies and a strong personal work ethic. Hamidah achieved a Grade 8 in French, alongside Grade 7s in Mathematics, Physics, and Religious Education.
Her results highlight her ability to perform consistently across a range of disciplines, combining analytical thinking with linguistic skill. Hamidah’s success is a reflection of her quiet determination and the high standards she has set for herself throughout her time at school.

Nusaybah Chowdhury
A future scientist in the making. Congratulations to Nusaybah Chowdhury, who has achieved outstanding GCSE results. Nusaybah earned Grade 9s in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, and Grade 8s in French, Music, and Biology. As a result, she will be going to Ark St Albans and studying Biology, Chemistry & Mathematics at A-Level.
Her results highlight a strong aptitude for STEM subjects, complemented by creativity and discipline. She thanked the school for all the support and wished all her teacher’s the best.
